Sustainable Recycling

Each panel of a Flash product consists of 8 layers of recycled newsprint,

which we sometimes pull right from the dumpsters filled with last weeks left overs! Head down to the 7 Days recycling bins and you might find one of us dumpster diving!

Vinyl Edging on top and bottom to ensure long lasting durability

While we make every attempt to use recycled materials, we believe long lasting durability is perhaps more important than being "green."

We strive to make products that will last, allowing you to carry a longer conversation. The outside layer of all Flashbags is a laminate- ensuring water resistance and color quality after exposure to the sun and the elements. We add vinyl on most edges to prevent tears and fraying. As a result a Flashbag can last for a long long time, retaining structure, image quality and functionality. If you find otherwise, we'd love to see what has happened!

Vermont Maps making Flashy Totes!

To take recycling a step further, we do "ReFlash"

  • a process in which we take existing paper products (posters, magazines, papers, maps) and vinyl products (banners) and making Flashy new stuff. We have worked with Ben & Jerry's, Shelburne Farms, The Museum of Flight, U.S. House of Representative Gift Shop, ECHO Science and Aquarium, and many more to make new funky stuff.
