And FLOTUS No. 3

While we're at it, Laura Bush has a new favorite bag, and it's called a Flashbag. A Flashbag, as we understand it, is a fashion-y way to endorse and give money to PlayPumps, one of the first lady's big initiatives, which aids the clean-water crisis in Africa. So you buy a PlayPumps Flashbag, and two things happen: 20 percent of the profit goes directly to PlayPumps and, according to the Flashbag website, the tote also generates a conversation. Or it's a great way to "carry a conversation," as they say.

Last week, Mrs. Bush met with Jean Case, who gave her the "Spinning Smiles" bag -- just in time for her Africa trip -- and the first lady immediately asked how she could obtain more. Turns out, the folks involved made 55 more in 30 hours just for FLOTUS. Next up: Let's keep an eye out for who has these bags, though if you personally want a $78 bag, you can get one at flashbagsonline.com.
