Dairy Farmers Working Together Website

Dairy Farmers Working Together is a grassroots organization that was developed in Vermont in 2006 during a year of record low prices and high cost of production. The goal of the organization is to unify the Dairy Industry to provide for price stability through a new national dairy industry policy.

Instability in the dairy industry affects vets, local stores, feed dealers and repair shops as well as threatens the open landscape that Vermonters and tourists enjoy today.

DFWT is a Vermont-based group, but recognizes that the problems they face are not specific to Vermont. Since 2006, DFWT has traveled extensively across the country, hosted meetings and national calls where farmers have stated overwhelmingly they want a form of supply management which can respond to the market.

The DFWT bags are made with the iconic images of Vermont artist Woody Jackson, who is well known for his works featuring dairy cows. Woody is even donating his artist commission to this oh-so important cause!
