Emina is a 16 year old graphic designer who began working with Flashbags as a Big Picture student. Big Picture is an innovative new school where the students learn about the things they are passionate about and are encouraged to explore their interest(s) in the real world. Originally Emina was asked to create a Buzz Design (themed word collages) for Flashbags. When her first piece was completed it was clear that she was onto something very different. Since then her art has blossomed into something all its own.

Each design begins with an idea, primarily originating from her love of fashion, particularly vintage. She begins by blending images from her own art repertoire with images from a variety of sources using photoshop. Emina’s art is deeply focused on color, texture, and most importantly detail. This line of art is called Soft Vintage, since its been forming into just that. She hopes to take that artistic detail and use it in the world of fashion design, in particular designing fabrics and fashion pieces.
