Go RED for Women

The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Movement is dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke (the #1 and # 3 causes of death in women) through research and prevention. One of the core goals of the Go Red movement is to change the perception that heart disease is a "man's disease" and to empower women to become proactive about their heart health.

Go Red Plattsburgh 2010 design

Fundraising events are held across the country, which include informational breakout sessions, survivor speakers, and health screenings. Some of last years local participants described the events as "life changing."
