Although we have not yet met face to face, we first "bumped" into Jonathan during an annual pilgrimage to Provincetown, Mass. One of the things that gets us through the long Vermont winters is fantasizing the thrill of a leisurely summer stroll through the wonderful art galleries along Commercial St. The Gerber Daisies stole our hearts and we knew the images were flashbags waiting to happen. Armed with a postcard and email address, we reached out to Jonathan and voila! Gerber Daisies Flashbags!

Jonathan lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has been creating images for the past 18 years. He has worked with a variety of mediums, searching for the one that best expresses his photographic visions. His newest line of digitally scanned objects presented as high definition prints has become his signature style.
In 2001, Jonathan was awarded the Grand Prize in the National Geographic Society and Ford Motor Company Escape competitions. He has traveled with Nathional Geographic to Africa to capture the wildlife and landscapes of South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
