Lemon Burst

We know that images with context connote the emotion that is the essence of a Flashbag - Katharine Montstream's City of Burlington, Woody Jackson's field of Cows, Eric Carle's Very Hungry Caterpillar. But we wondered what else connotes emotion? Color? Texture? Daisies? Polka-dots? We had the opportunity to think outside "the bag" and come up with a line for a popular fashion store. We wanted to remain true to the heart of Flashbags, while also creating a line with national fashion appeal. One afternoon, we began experimenting with dots in various colors, exploring color palettes and a fun playful spirit. And Marezee Dots was born- a bright, bold play with color and shape.
